- via A13 (Berlin – Dresden) as far as autobahn interchange Kreuz Dresden, further along A4 towards Goerlitz, exit Pulsnitz, then further along the road towards Radeberg turning off to Stolpen (S159)
- via A17 (Dresden – Prague), exit, further along A17a, 2nd exit after crossing the Elbe River in Pirna, then follow S164 towards Neustadt in Sachsen as far as Stolpen
- via B6 (Dresden – Bautzen) towards Bischofswerda as far as Fischbach rotary, then further along S159 to Stolpen
